Are You A Writer, Proud and Strong . . .

Are you a writer? Can you be anything else? Sometimes it comes with such a steep price. People ask me questions and I look inward for the answers.

I’ve learned along the way that nothing comes easy. And then it dawns on me that I am what they seek. And a chill shoots down my spine . . . Do they really know what lies ahead? How could they and still . . .

If I could stay in these four walls and write, I would be so much farther ahead, but nothing works the way you think. And so I venture out in the land of the critics and it begins . . . People flock to you, at first it seems kind of nice and then you wonder if its all lies. Let’s just leave it at that . . . I’m sure you see, it’s not all rosy feelings and sunny skies . . . It comes with a price. Dreams are yours to share. Dan
