Hey Friends

It's been a long while . . . A lot's happened. I just thought I would fill ya in . . .

2007, I published my second poetry book, "Sleepless Nights". Last December I finished writing my first novel, "Sins of a Father" and this summer I wrote my second, "We Walk Alone" . . . I was planning on having the editing done by December and then . . .

And then the Economy went somewhere south . . . Oh and I broke my leg. That's hard on a fifty one year old man. Thank the Good Lord for being able to dial 911 . . .

And so here I am stumbling through the days trying to be busy and productive. At first the medication made it impossible to write and then life somehow got through my gatekeeper and now I'm trying desperately to find my way back to the page . . .

And so we are about to let GM die . . . Ever wonder what we would be like without baseball, hot dogs and apple pie? What is America to you? Ever given it much thought?

Welcome back, Dan, and congratulations on publishing your poetry book and completing your novels. Thanks to NaNo, I finally completed my first novel-length piece. Now I just need to kick myself in the pants so I'll actually edit it. Heh.
