I have found a great poet
I have found Robert Bly, a great American Poet . . . He is alive in his writings. His words move me to experiment with my own. And soon I will start a new chapter in my own development. I love writing. It’s like cutting your way through a dense jungle, going somewhere but not knowing where. Dangers lurk between the words, between the sheets of processed wood. And with ever reader, come the critics . . . And it is so hard to filter so I just let them go, you have too.
Every writer is at different levels, I know I’ve said this before. It’s true. Think of it as millions of buckets with millions and millions of marbles. Each day writers write, a bucket, each marble being a writer. With every article, every poem, every story or book, we grow. We move to another bucket. Then how can someone closer to the end of the line criticize someone closer to the beginning . . . They can’t, not without killing the dream.
Now throw in the critics and you have the purist chaos. And to be able to write, a writer has to reduce the noise, eliminate those thoughts that stop the writing . . . I don’t like to be critical of any writer. I don’t want to be the one that kills the dream. Anyone can write . . . But not everyone will. Dreams are yours to share. Dan
